Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced in vivo pharmacologist to lead Recludix Pharma’s in vivo pharmacology effort. A successful candidate will have extensive experience leading in vivo PK/PD and efficacy studies both internally and externally, along with deep familiarity with autoimmune disease models. The candidate should have a track record of being the pharmacology lead for small molecule drug discovery projects and successfully guiding the generation of compelling in vivo data packages.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and access appropriate in vivo models for inflammatory and autoimmune disease indications.
- Conceptualize, design, and guide the execution of in vivo studies performed both internally and externally.
- Develop strategies to demonstrate utility of inhibitors in relevant in vivo disease models. Assemble data packages.
- Manage and mentor a small internal in vivo pharmacology team.
- Collaborate closely within a Project Team environment to achieve drug discovery goals and objectives.
- Clearly and concisely present hypotheses, strategies, and project progress at interdisciplinary team meetings.
- Author and oversee IACUC protocols to ensure high ethical compliance.
- Contribute to the preparation of regulatory submissions.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. with extensive industry experience and proven success leading in vivo pharmacology efforts, using a rigorous and creative approach to scientific problem solving, as evidenced by publications and a record of accomplishment.
- Deep knowledge and experience of inflammation and autoimmunity in vivo models.
- Substantial familiarity working with contract research organizations and academic collaborators.
- Strong technical expertise in in vivo biology, including PK/PD and efficacy studies.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Further Information:
Salary range: $205,000 – $230,000
